A former Lieutenant Colonel in one of Scotland’s famous Highland Regiments, Hugo was the Deputy Governor of Edinburgh Castle and military commander of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
He offers a veteran’s understanding of the bloody realities of Scotland’s battlefields, a mountaineer’s appreciation of its awe-inspiring landscape and an artist’s eye for Scotland’s rich creative, cultural and musical heritage
